Description
The Colt Frontier Six Shooter is a legendary variant of the Single Action Army revolver, chambered in the classic .44-40 Winchester cartridge. First introduced in the late 19th century, this model quickly became popular among lawmen, cowboys, and ranchers for its compatibility with Winchester lever-action rifles of the same caliber.
This particular revolver is a 3rd Generation Single Action Army, factory-marked “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” on the barrel. It features a beautiful blued finish with a color case-hardened frame, classic walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, and a 4.75" barrel — the quintessential barrel length for fast handling and traditional western appeal.
Accompanied by its original Colt blue box and paperwork, this revolver is in excellent condition and shows minimal signs of handling. A fine example for the collector, shooter, or enthusiast of classic Colt single actions.
